1. Recognizing KuGar Taekwondo athletes that competed at the AAU National Taekwondo Championship in Las Vegas, Nevada this July at the MGM Grand. A large number of competitors participated in their respective divisions starting with Beginners, Intermediate and Advanced (Black Belts) in ages ranging from 7-18 years old. Those athletes that earned a medal in their division are: Gold Medalist: Bella Hernandez 10-11 Blue Belt, Haley Mendoza Senior Red Belt, and Fernando Martinez Cadet Red Belt. Silver Medalist: Liam Carrillo 8-9 Yellow Belt. Bronze Medalist: Lizzy Hernandez 6-7 Yellow Belt, Athena Trottman Cadet Black Belt, and Gabriel Kuhns 8-9 Blue Belt.

XII. 10. 2022-0-124 Authorizing the Interim City Manager to grant a non-exclusive franchise to Laredo A's Trash Rentals to use the present and future streets, avenues, alleys, roads, highways, sidewalks, easements and other public right-of-ways of the City of Laredo, Texas for purposes of constructing, maintaining and operating a commercial container refuse gathering and disposing service, setting forth terms and conditions to govern the franchise; providing a severability clause, a savings clause and an effective date. All waste hauling businesses operating within the city limits are required to secure a Franchise Agreement with the City of Laredo for use of public streets.
