XI. CONSENT AGENDA
XI.34. Consideration to reject both bids received for FY21-ENG-16 Fire Station 10 Fleet Annex Building located at 11015 McPherson Rd. The bids received exceeded the estimated budget amount. There is no financial impact at this time.
XI.51. Consideration to ratify an emergency Purchase Order (Requisition Number 463830) to Movac Equipment Company in the amount of $79,287.77 for services rendered during an emergency repair of a collapsed manhole in the intersection of Pinder Avenue and Sanchez Street. Funding is available in the Sewer System Fund2022 Sewer Revenue Bond.
XI.53. Consideration to award supply/services contract number FY24-098 to the lowest responsible bidder Midas Contractors of Laredo, Texas in an annual amount of up to $270,000.00 for the purchase of fencing repair services for the Utilities Department. These services shall be purchased on an as needed basis by the Utilities Department for repairs and new projects. The term of this contract shall be for a period of one year beginning as of the date of its execution. This contract can be renewed for three additional one-year extension periods, upon mutual agreement of the parties. Funding is available in the Waterworks & Sewer System Funds.
XI.55. Consideration to award a purchase contract with BuyBoard vendor Zone Industries/dba/ Precision Pumps from Spring, Texas in an amount of $58,931.26. This purchase of two submersible pumps for the North Laredo Wastewater plant shall be made utilizing the BuyBoard Contract 672-22. These existing pumps were installed in 2010 and have reached their useful life. One of the pumps is needed for the influent station which is used to send sewage to a higher ground elevation. The other pump is needed for the effluent flows and effluent re-use irrigation at the Casa Blanca golf course and Laredo Country Club. Funding is available in the Sewer System Construction Fund.

XVI.62) B.1. Discussion with possible action to examine the regulations that new industrial developments either maintain existing native vegetation or plant new native species, and to discuss methods for enforcing these rules, and any other matters incident thereto.

Discussion with possible action to have Finance report detailing the components of Council Member salaries, additional funds that support Council Members such as Travel and Promotional funds, the benefits received (including health and pension), and any other compensation Council Members may be eligible for, and any other matters incident thereto.
