XI.6. An Ordinance of the City of Laredo, Texas, amending Chapter 23 - Parks and Recreation, Section 23-6 of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Laredo to establish the Buena Vista Sports complex as an independent city park facility within the Parks and Recreation system; providing for the adoption of a fee schedule for the complex; prohibiting fee waivers by individual city officials or council members; providing limited uses for city promotion purposes at the discretion of the City Manager; providing for publication and an effective date; and providing for severability.

XV.50. Discussion with possible action to create and dedicate an arch entrance with a memory garden at Father McNaboe Park in honor of Griselda and Dominic Hernandez, and any other matters incident thereto.

A resolution of the City council of the city of Laredo, Texas, adopting the City of Laredo Public-Private Partnership (PPP) Policy; pursuant to the authority granted under chapters 2267 and 271 of the Texas local government code; establishing a framework for leveraging private investment in city facilities and services; and providing for an effective date.

A resolution of the City Council of the City of Laredo, Texas, establishing a establishing a City of Laredo policy position on freight infrastructure projects located within the City limits and extraterritorial jurisdiction (ETJ); requiring Memoranda of Participation (MoPs) or Development Agreements as a condition for access to City infrastructure and services; and identifying remedies for non-participation.
XII.36. Consideration to authorize the purchase of two complete EOD 10E bomb suits for the Laredo Police Department Bomb Squad Unit in the amount of $97,689.04 from Strohman Enterprise, Inc. This purchase will be funded through FY25 State Home Land Security Program (SHSP)- Law Enforcement Terrorism Prevention Activities (LETPA) using GSA Contract 47QSWA20D006G. Funding is available in Special Police Fund, and General Fund- Police Department.

Submission of the 2025 Certified Appraisal Roll from the Webb County Appraisal District for the development of the City's tax roll; acceptance of the Tax Rate Calculation Worksheets for the No-New-Revenue Tax Rate and Voter-Approval Tax Rate for Tax Year 2025; recommend to propose a tax rate of $0.506090 per $100 of value; setting a date for a Special City Council Meeting for the Public Hearing and Introductory Ordinance of the proposed tax rate. The meeting must be held on September 9, 10, 11, or 12 of 2025.
XIII.45. Status report with possible action by the Laredo Bridge System on the development of an improved method for handling “turn-arounds” from insufficient fees at WTB.
