1. Discussion and possible action to approve a Memorandum of Understanding
between the City of Laredo and Laredo Baseball Investors, L.L.C., for the
transition and transfer of ownership of the Laredo Lemurs; the membership in
the American Association of Independent Professional Baseball; and, the
assignment of the Operations and Lease Agreement and Development
Agreement to Laredo Baseball Holdings, Inc., and authorizing the issuance of a
Letter of Credit to the American Association of Independent Professional
Baseball to facilitate the transfer and preserve the Lemur’s status with the
American Association and any matters incident thereto.
