SUPPLEMENTAL AGENDA 1. Approval of the Collective Bargaining Agreement between the City of Laredo and the Laredo Fire Fighters Association, Local 872, effective October 1, 2014 through September 30, 2018, representing a four (4) year agreement and authorizing the City Manager to execute the agreement. This agreement provides for a salary increase of 2% for firefighters through the rank of Assistant Fire Chief effective October 1, 2014; a 3% salary increase for firefighters through the rank of Assistant Fire Chief effective October 1, 2015; a 3% salary increase effective October 1, 2016; and a 3% salary increase effective October 1, 2017. This agreement includes a commitment by the City, with approval of the City Council, to add twelve (12) full-time Employees (firefighters) to the current complement of 362 in incremental increases during the term of the Agreement. Furthermore, the City and the Union agree to now allocate and cap 3,000 hours for Association Business Leave to attend seminars, workshops, City Council meetings, State Legislative sessions, U. S. Congressional hearings, grievances, arbitrations and other related Association Business, and allowing for the rollover of 1,000 hours for use within the year and the ability to donate hours for a member to attend Association Business. Other ministerial changes to terms and conditions are made as contained within the agreement.
17. Authorizing the City Manager to enter into a Chapter 380 Economic Development Agreement with Plaza Partners for the restoration, operation, and ultimate ownership of the Plaza Theater to be utilized as performing arts, meeting, and reception venue that will create new job opportunities and renewed economic interest in Downtown Laredo. The agreement provides for the initial lease of the Theater at $1.00 per year followed by the transfer of title to occur at the time Plaza Partners, at its sole cost, has successfully completed renovation of the property in compliance with all applicable local ordinances and state and federal statutes and standards, and the property has become fully operational condition to occur within forty-two (42) months of the date of this agreement. The City will be responsible for payment of utility costs incurred for eighteen (18) months following the date of agreement. Funding is available in the Capital Improvement Fund. Setting the maximum speed limit on that section of Loop 20 within the city limits of the City of Laredo, Webb County, Texas approaching Spur 400 (Clark Blvd.) as 45 MPH from Mile Point 18.523 to Mile Point 20.274, as defined in the Texas Department of Transportation Control Section Map 0086-14, to be in effect during the construction of the overpass providing for the installation of appropriate signs to indicate new speed changes in the designated areas and providing for publication and effective date. (Approved by Operations Committee) 19. Setting the new speed limit on sections of IH 35 within the city limits of Laredo, Webb County, Texas, to 35 Miles Per Hour from Hidalgo St. to approximately 270 feet North of Victoria St., 50 Miles Per Hour from approximately 270 feet North of Victoria St. to approximately 650 feet North of Scott St., and 65 Miles Per Hour Maximum and 50 Miles Per Hour Minimum from approximately 650 feet North of Scott St. to approximately 4,480 feet North of Loop 20, as defined in the Texas Department of Transportation Control Section Map 0018-06, providing for the installation of appropriate signs to indicate new speed changes in the designated areas and providing for publication and effective date. Amending Chapter 19, Motor Vehicle and Traffic, Article VIII, Stopping, Standing or Parking, of The Code of Ordinances, City of Laredo, Specifically, adding Section 19-364 (13) which establishes the East and West side of Larga Vista Drive, as a "No Parking/Tow Away" Zone, from SH 359 to approximately 200 feet North of SH 359, providing severability and for an effective date and publication. (Approved by Operations Committee) 21. Authorizing the City Manager to execute a lease renewal with Duty Free Americas Inc., for approximately 22,500 sq. ft. warehouse located at 5511 Thomas Avenue at the Laredo International Airport. Lease term is for twelve (12) months commencing on October 9, 2014, and ending on October 8, 2015. Initial rent shall be $9,135.00 per month; providing for an effective date. Authorizing the City Manager to approve a sublease a portion of the leased premises approved by Ordinance No. 95-O-251 dated February 20, 1996 between the City of Laredo as LESSOR and L.A. Ventures Terminal, LTD., as LESSEE, for the premises described as Warehouse Suite 8B, which consists of approximately 11,267 sq. ft. of warehouse, office and showroom space located at 2822 E. Bustamante, Suite 8B and within Lot 8, Block 1 of the Laredo International Airport Subdivision Plat to Baker Distributing Company, L.L.C., a Delaware limited liability company as SUB-LESSEE, said lease provides for right to sublease subject to city approval, which approval shall not be unreasonably withheld. Authorizing the City Manager to execute a lease agreement between the City of Laredo, as LESSEE and Paul Young Properties, LTD., as LESSOR for an approximate 1,250 sq. ft. tract of unimproved land located at the southeast corner of the airport adjoining Paul Young properties. Proposed annual rent shall be $1,250.00 plus annual CPI rent adjustments and fair market rent appraisals at 10th and 20th anniversaries. Lease term is for thirty (30) years commencing on December 1, 2014 and ending on November 30, 2044; providing for an effective date. (Approved by Operations Committee)

FINAL READING OF ORDINANCES 24. 2014-O-131 Amending the City of Laredo FY 2015 Airport Construction Fund Budget to accept and appropriate the Federal Aviation Administration Airport Improvement Program Grant Project No. 3-48-0136-78-2014 in the amount of $4,000,000.00 for noise mitigation under FAR PART 150 Noise Abatement Program at the Laredo International Airport and authorizing the City Manager to implement said budget amendment. The City’s required 10% local match for FAA Grant No. 78, in the amount of $444,444.00, is available in the Airport Construction Fund Budget.
25. Approving the creation of a Binational Commission between the City of Laredo, Texas and the City of Nuevo Laredo, Tamaulipas to organize the partnership between the two cities and develop a viable action plan for the progressive future. 26. Authorizing the City Manager to execute a contract of service with Laredo Main Street in the amount of $50,000.00 in support of the Laredo Main Street Program. X (a) RESOLUTIONS 30. 2014-R-102 Authorizing the City Manager to accept a contract from the Department of State Health Services (DSHS) in the amount of $50,000.00 for the City of Laredo Health Department to implement targeted, evidence-based community systems and environmental change strategies that address one or more of the eight (8) Texas Healthy Communities (TXHC) priorities to improve healthier outcomes for chronic diseases for the term period from October 1, 2014 through September 30, 2015. 31. 2014-R-103 Authorizing the creation of the Laredo Economic Reinvestment Corporation, a non-profit corporation within Section 501 (c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code of 1954, as amended, approving the Articles of Incorporation, and adopting the By-Laws of the Corporation. The purpose of the Corporation is for the conveyance of real property in furtherance of the Economic Development Performance and Program Grant agreement between the City of Laredo, Texas and El Portal Center, L.L.C. (EPC) and previously approved by City Council. X (b) MOTIONS 32. Consideration to award a contract to PST Services, Inc. (McKesson), based on their proposal to develop a cost reimbursement analysis and submit appropriate reports for FY 2014 and 2015 to the Texas Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC) Ambulance Supplemental Payment Program (TASPP) to generate revenue for uncompensated ambulance costs for emergency services. It is estimated that over $1.2 million will be generated, of which the company will be paid 5.9% of the total reimbursement to the City of Laredo for the term from November 1, 2014 through September 30, 2015 and is subject to renewal for another three (3) years contingent on program availability, mutual agreement and future budget appropriation. 33. Authorizing the City Manager to enter into Professional Services Contracts with Porras Residential Appraisals and Frank Leal Real Estate and authorizing staff to negotiate for each appraisal assignment, in support of the City of Laredo International Airport Noise Compatibility Program. Appraisers will be selected on a rotation basis to conduct property appraisals and appraisal report reviews. Funding is available under Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Airport Improvement Projects (AIP), Grant No. 69 and Grant No. 72. 34. Consideration for approval of the Marcos J. Aranda Recreation and Boxing Center as complete, release of retainage and approval of final payment in the amount of $35,655.50 to ALC Construction, Inc., Laredo, Texas. Final construction contract amount is $713,110.00. Funding is available in the CDBG 39th Action Year - 2013 Grant. (AS AMENDED) 35. Consideration for approval of amendment No. 4, an increase of $45,000.00 to the professional services contract with Puig Engineering, Laredo, Texas, Laredo Division of Civil Engineering Consultants for proposed utility design to include illumination, water, sewer, and gas adjustments to the West Laredo Corridor - Flecha Lane/Las Cruces Intersection re-alignment. A letter of approval was received from TxDot to proceed with the amendment. Current engineering contract amount with this amendment is $420,345.00. Funding is available in the Capital Improvement Fund-West Laredo Corridor – Phase II. 36. Consideration to award a construction contract to the lowest bidder, Laredo Concrete Cutting and Sealant, Laredo, Texas, in the amount of $283,756.70 (which includes the base bid and alternates no. 1, 2 and 3 resulting with a full concrete parking lot) for the Laredo International Airport, M&M Cargo Parking Lot Rehabilitation with a construction contract time of forty (40) calendar days; and authorizing the City Manager to execute all related contract documents contingent upon receipt and approval of insurance and bond documents. Completion date for the project is scheduled for January 2015. Funding is available in the Airport Construction Fund. 37. Consideration for approval of change order No. 2, an increase of $272,272.50 to the construction contract with Reim Construction, Inc., Mission, Texas, for the Laredo International Airport General Aviation Apron Reconstruction Phase 8 and Terminal Apron Rehabilitation to include joint sealing for the terminal apron rehabilitation. Current construction contract with this change order is $5,182,507.50. Completion date for the project is scheduled for August 2015. Funding is available in the Airport Construction Fund. 38. Consideration to award a contract to Nardis Public Safety, San Antonio, Texas for an estimated amount of $172,000.00 for the purchase of Police Uniforms. This is a BuyBoard Cooperative Purchasing Contract to purchase approximately 1,000 pants and 2,000 long sleeve and short sleeve shirts of different sizes which will be distributed to sworn police officers in accordance with the Collective Bargaining Agreement Contract. If the contract pricing does not exceed the current pricing structure, the contract will be automatically renewed for two (2) additional one (1) year periods with BuyBoard Contract No. 416-12, subject to future appropriations. Funding is available within the Laredo Police Department’s General Fund uniform account. 39. Consideration to renew annual supply contract number FY14-006 with Stanbio Laboratory, San Antonio, Texas in an estimated amount up to $102,200.00, for the purchase of HemoPoint H2 Microcuvettes for the City of Laredo Health Department. These test strips are used to secure accurate hemoglobin blood tests. The term of this contract shall be for a period of one (1) year beginning as of the date of its execution. The contract may be extended for three (3), additional one (1) year periods each upon mutual agreement of the parties. This is an annual supply contract that allows for the purchase of microcuvettes on an as needed basis. Funding is available in the Health Department Fund. 40. Consideration to renew contract FY13-051 to Staff Force, Laredo, Texas, for an amount up to $95,200.00, to provide contract employees for the Laredo International Airport Department. Temporary contract employees have been requested for customer service agent positions. The term of this contract shall be for a period of one (1) year beginning as of the date of its execution. The contract may be extended for four (4) more, additional one (1) year periods each upon mutual agreement of the parties. Funding is available in the Airport Fund. 41. Consideration to award contract FY14-092 to the sole bidder, Fountain People, Inc., San Marcos, Texas in the amount of $330,204.50 for the purchase of one (1) fountain display system/water feature system including pumps, valves, and specialties (nozzles, pool fittings, etc.) for Slaughter Park. Funding for this purchase is available in the Parks & Leisure Department Fund. 42. Consideration to renewal contract FY 14-027 to purchase uniforms in the estimated cost of $60,000.00 for various City departments as follows: Section I, for Parks and Recreation; GA Advertising, Laredo, Texas in the estimated amount of $9,799.00. 1. Section II, Solid Waste; GA Advertising, Laredo, Texas in the estimated amount of $19,836.00. 2. Section III, Public Works Department, Al & Rob Sales, Laredo, Texas in the estimated amount of $19,602.00. 3. Section IV, Laredo Municipal Housing Corporation, GA Advertising, Laredo, Texas in the estimated amount of $6,605.62. 4. 5. There is no increase in contract pricing. Funding is available on the respective departmental budgets. 43. Consideration to renew supply contract number FY12-092 to Ferguson Waterworks, Newport News, Virginia, in an amount up to $272,450.00 for the purchase of butterfly valves and mechanical joint iron fittings for the Utilities Department. These materials shall be purchased on an as needed basis by the Utilities Department- Water Operations for construction and repair projects. The term of this contract shall be for a period of one (1) year beginning as of the date of its execution. The contract may be extended for one, additional one (1) year period each upon mutual agreement of the parties. Funding is available in the Utilities Department Fund. 44. Authorizing the City Manager to approve Amendment No. 1, to Premier Engineering in the amount of $14,650.00 for the preparation of the Engineering Feasibility Report per Texas Water Development Board (TWDB) funding requirements for the 24-in diameter water transmission main from Loop 20 and Del Mar to East Corridor Booster Station project. The revised contract amount is $380,616.00. Funding is available in the 2012 Water Revenue Bond.

SUPPLEMENTAL AGENDA 1. Approval of the Collective Bargaining Agreement between the City of Laredo and the Laredo Fire Fighters Association, Local 872, effective October 1, 2014 through September 30, 2018, representing a four (4) year agreement and authorizing the City Manager to execute the agreement. This agreement provides for a salary increase of 2% for firefighters through the rank of Assistant Fire Chief effective October 1, 2014; a 3% salary increase for firefighters through the rank of Assistant Fire Chief effective October 1, 2015; a 3% salary increase effective October 1, 2016; and a 3% salary increase effective October 1, 2017. This agreement includes a commitment by the City, with approval of the City Council, to add twelve (12) full-time Employees (firefighters) to the current complement of 362 in incremental increases during the term of the Agreement. Furthermore, the City and the Union agree to now allocate and cap 3,000 hours for Association Business Leave to attend seminars, workshops, City Council meetings, State Legislative sessions, U. S. Congressional hearings, grievances, arbitrations and other related Association Business, and allowing for the rollover of 1,000 hours for use within the year and the ability to donate hours for a member to attend Association Business. Other ministerial changes to terms and conditions are made as contained within the agreement.
17. Authorizing the City Manager to enter into a Chapter 380 Economic Development Agreement with Plaza Partners for the restoration, operation, and ultimate ownership of the Plaza Theater to be utilized as performing arts, meeting, and reception venue that will create new job opportunities and renewed economic interest in Downtown Laredo. The agreement provides for the initial lease of the Theater at $1.00 per year followed by the transfer of title to occur at the time Plaza Partners, at its sole cost, has successfully completed renovation of the property in compliance with all applicable local ordinances and state and federal statutes and standards, and the property has become fully operational condition to occur within forty-two (42) months of the date of this agreement. The City will be responsible for payment of utility costs incurred for eighteen (18) months following the date of agreement. Funding is available in the Capital Improvement Fund. Setting the maximum speed limit on that section of Loop 20 within the city limits of the City of Laredo, Webb County, Texas approaching Spur 400 (Clark Blvd.) as 45 MPH from Mile Point 18.523 to Mile Point 20.274, as defined in the Texas Department of Transportation Control Section Map 0086-14, to be in effect during the construction of the overpass providing for the installation of appropriate signs to indicate new speed changes in the designated areas and providing for publication and effective date. (Approved by Operations Committee) 19. Setting the new speed limit on sections of IH 35 within the city limits of Laredo, Webb County, Texas, to 35 Miles Per Hour from Hidalgo St. to approximately 270 feet North of Victoria St., 50 Miles Per Hour from approximately 270 feet North of Victoria St. to approximately 650 feet North of Scott St., and 65 Miles Per Hour Maximum and 50 Miles Per Hour Minimum from approximately 650 feet North of Scott St. to approximately 4,480 feet North of Loop 20, as defined in the Texas Department of Transportation Control Section Map 0018-06, providing for the installation of appropriate signs to indicate new speed changes in the designated areas and providing for publication and effective date. (Approved by Operations Committee) 20. Amending Chapter 19, Motor Vehicle and Traffic, Article VIII, Stopping, Standing or Parking, of The Code of Ordinances, City of Laredo, Specifically, adding Section 19-364 (13) which establishes the East and West side of Larga Vista Drive, as a "No Parking/Tow Away" Zone, from SH 359 to approximately 200 feet North of SH 359, providing severability and for an effective date and publication. (Approved by Operations Committee) 21. Authorizing the City Manager to execute a lease renewal with Duty Free Americas Inc., for approximately 22,500 sq. ft. warehouse located at 5511 Thomas Avenue at the Laredo International Airport. Lease term is for twelve (12) months commencing on October 9, 2014, and ending on October 8, 2015. Initial rent shall be $9,135.00 per month; providing for an effective date. Authorizing the City Manager to approve a sublease a portion of the leased premises approved by Ordinance No. 95-O-251 dated February 20, 1996 between the City of Laredo as LESSOR and L.A. Ventures Terminal, LTD., as LESSEE, for the premises described as Warehouse Suite 8B, which consists of approximately 11,267 sq. ft. of warehouse, office and showroom space located at 2822 E. Bustamante, Suite 8B and within Lot 8, Block 1 of the Laredo International Airport Subdivision Plat to Baker Distributing Company, L.L.C., a Delaware limited liability company as SUB-LESSEE, said lease provides for right to sublease subject to city approval, which approval shall not be unreasonably withheld. (Approved by Operations Committee) 23. Authorizing the City Manager to execute a lease agreement between the City of Laredo, as LESSEE and Paul Young Properties, LTD., as LESSOR for an approximate 1,250 sq. ft. tract of unimproved land located at the southeast corner of the airport adjoining Paul Young properties. Proposed annual rent shall be $1,250.00 plus annual CPI rent adjustments and fair market rent appraisals at 10th and 20th anniversaries. Lease term is for thirty (30) years commencing on December 1, 2014 and ending on November 30, 2044; providing for an effective date. (Approved by Operations Committee)

FINAL READING OF ORDINANCES 24. 2014-O-131 Amending the City of Laredo FY 2015 Airport Construction Fund Budget to accept and appropriate the Federal Aviation Administration Airport Improvement Program Grant Project No. 3-48-0136-78-2014 in the amount of $4,000,000.00 for noise mitigation under FAR PART 150 Noise Abatement Program at the Laredo International Airport and authorizing the City Manager to implement said budget amendment. The City’s required 10% local match for FAA Grant No. 78, in the amount of $444,444.00, is available in the Airport Construction Fund Budget.

Approving the creation of a Binational Commission between the City of Laredo, Texas and the City of Nuevo Laredo, Tamaulipas to organize the partnership between the two cities and develop a viable action plan for the progressive future. 26. X (a) RESOLUTIONS 30. 2014-R-102 Authorizing the City Manager to accept a contract from the Department of State Health Services (DSHS) in the amount of $50,000.00 for the City of Laredo Health Department to implement targeted, evidence-based community systems and environmental change strategies that address one or more of the eight (8) Texas Healthy Communities (TXHC) priorities to improve healthier outcomes for chronic diseases for the term period from October 1, 2014 through September 30, 2015. 31. 2014-R-103 Authorizing the creation of the Laredo Economic Reinvestment Corporation, a non-profit corporation within Section 501 (c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code of 1954, as amended, approving the Articles of Incorporation, and adopting the By-Laws of the Corporation. The purpose of the Corporation is for the conveyance of real property in furtherance of the Economic Development Performance and Program Grant agreement between the City of Laredo, Texas and El Portal Center, L.L.C. (EPC) and previously approved by City Council. X (b) MOTIONS 32. Consideration to award a contract to PST Services, Inc. (McKesson), based on their proposal to develop a cost reimbursement analysis and submit appropriate reports for FY 2014 and 2015 to the Texas Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC) Ambulance Supplemental Payment Program (TASPP) to generate revenue for uncompensated ambulance costs for emergency services. It is estimated that over $1.2 million will be generated, of which the company will be paid 5.9% of the total reimbursement to the City of Laredo for the term from November 1, 2014 through September 30, 2015 and is subject to renewal for another three (3) years contingent on program availability, mutual agreement and future budget appropriation. 33. Authorizing the City Manager to enter into Professional Services Contracts with Porras Residential Appraisals and Frank Leal Real Estate and authorizing staff to negotiate for each appraisal assignment, in support of the City of Laredo International Airport Noise Compatibility Program. Appraisers will be selected on a rotation basis to conduct property appraisals and appraisal report reviews. Funding is available under Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Airport Improvement Projects (AIP), Grant No. 69 and Grant No. 72. 34. Consideration for approval of the Marcos J. Aranda Recreation and Boxing Center as complete, release of retainage and approval of final payment in the amount of $35,655.50 to ALC Construction, Inc., Laredo, Texas. Final construction contract amount is $713,110.00. Funding is available in the CDBG 39th Action Year - 2013 Grant. (AS AMENDED) 35. Consideration for approval of amendment No. 4, an increase of $45,000.00 to the professional services contract with Puig Engineering, Laredo, Texas, Laredo Division of Civil Engineering Consultants for proposed utility design to include illumination, water, sewer, and gas adjustments to the West Laredo Corridor - Flecha Lane/Las Cruces Intersection re-alignment. A letter of approval was received from TxDot to proceed with the amendment. Current engineering contract amount with this amendment is $420,345.00. Funding is available in the Capital Improvement Fund-West Laredo Corridor – Phase II. 36. Consideration to award a construction contract to the lowest bidder, Laredo Concrete Cutting and Sealant, Laredo, Texas, in the amount of $283,756.70 (which includes the base bid and alternates no. 1, 2 and 3 resulting with a full concrete parking lot) for the Laredo International Airport, M&M Cargo Parking Lot Rehabilitation with a construction contract time of forty (40) calendar days; and authorizing the City Manager to execute all related contract documents contingent upon receipt and approval of insurance and bond documents. Completion date for the project is scheduled for January 2015. Funding is available in the Airport Construction Fund. 37. Consideration for approval of change order No. 2, an increase of $272,272.50 to the construction contract with Reim Construction, Inc., Mission, Texas, for the Laredo International Airport General Aviation Apron Reconstruction Phase 8 and Terminal Apron Rehabilitation to include joint sealing for the terminal apron rehabilitation. Current construction contract with this change order is $5,182,507.50. Completion date for the project is scheduled for August 2015. Funding is available in the Airport Construction Fund. 38. Consideration to award a contract to Nardis Public Safety, San Antonio, Texas for an estimated amount of $172,000.00 for the purchase of Police Uniforms. This is a BuyBoard Cooperative Purchasing Contract to purchase approximately 1,000 pants and 2,000 long sleeve and short sleeve shirts of different sizes which will be distributed to sworn police officers in accordance with the Collective Bargaining Agreement Contract. If the contract pricing does not exceed the current pricing structure, the contract will be automatically renewed for two (2) additional one (1) year periods with BuyBoard Contract No. 416-12, subject to future appropriations. Funding is available within the Laredo Police Department’s General Fund uniform account. 39. Consideration to renew annual supply contract number FY14-006 with Stanbio Laboratory, San Antonio, Texas in an estimated amount up to $102,200.00, for the purchase of HemoPoint H2 Microcuvettes for the City of Laredo Health Department. These test strips are used to secure accurate hemoglobin blood tests. The term of this contract shall be for a period of one (1) year beginning as of the date of its execution. The contract may be extended for three (3), additional one (1) year periods each upon mutual agreement of the parties. This is an annual supply contract that allows for the purchase of microcuvettes on an as needed basis. Funding is available in the Health Department Fund. 40. Consideration to renew contract FY13-051 to Staff Force, Laredo, Texas, for an amount up to $95,200.00, to provide contract employees for the Laredo International Airport Department. Temporary contract employees have been requested for customer service agent positions. The term of this contract shall be for a period of one (1) year beginning as of the date of its execution. The contract may be extended for four (4) more, additional one (1) year periods each upon mutual agreement of the parties. Funding is available in the Airport Fund. 41. Consideration to award contract FY14-092 to the sole bidder, Fountain People, Inc., San Marcos, Texas in the amount of $330,204.50 for the purchase of one (1) fountain display system/water feature system including pumps, valves, and specialties (nozzles, pool fittings, etc.) for Slaughter Park. Funding for this purchase is available in the Parks & Leisure Department Fund. 42. Consideration to renewal contract FY 14-027 to purchase uniforms in the estimated cost of $60,000.00 for various City departments as follows: Section I, for Parks and Recreation; GA Advertising, Laredo, Texas in the estimated amount of $9,799.00. 1. Section II, Solid Waste; GA Advertising, Laredo, Texas in the estimated amount of $19,836.00. 2. Section III, Public Works Department, Al & Rob Sales, Laredo, Texas in the estimated amount of $19,602.00. 3. Section IV, Laredo Municipal Housing Corporation, GA Advertising, Laredo, Texas in the estimated amount of $6,605.62. 4. 5. There is no increase in contract pricing. Funding is available on the respective departmental budgets. 43. Consideration to renew supply contract number FY12-092 to Ferguson Waterworks, Newport News, Virginia, in an amount up to $272,450.00 for the purchase of butterfly valves and mechanical joint iron fittings for the Utilities Department. These materials shall be purchased on an as needed basis by the Utilities Department- Water Operations for construction and repair projects. The term of this contract shall be for a period of one (1) year beginning as of the date of its execution. The contract may be extended for one, additional one (1) year period each upon mutual agreement of the parties. Funding is available in the Utilities Department Fund. 44. Authorizing the City Manager to approve Amendment No. 1, to Premier Engineering in the amount of $14,650.00 for the preparation of the Engineering Feasibility Report per Texas Water Development Board (TWDB) funding requirements for the 24-in diameter water transmission main from Loop 20 and Del Mar to East Corridor Booster Station project. The revised contract amount is $380,616.00. Funding is available in the 2012 Water Revenue Bond.
