The funding will be used for overtime and fringe benefit expenses used for Stonegarden Operations. No local match is required. The term of this grant agreement is from September 1, 2014 to May 31, 2016.

Consideration for approval to award a Design/Build contract to Sunset Pools, Laredo, Texas, in association with Williams Architects, Itasca, Illinois, Aquatic Excellence, Austin, Texas, and Pros Consulting, Indianapolis, Indiana in the amount of $1,300,000.00 (One million-Three Hundred Thousand & no/cents Dollars) for the CDBG Freddy Benavides Recreational Water Feature adjacent to the City of Laredo Cigarroa Recreation Center Swimming Pool at 2201 Zacatecas Street with a construction contract time of one hundred eighty (180) calendar days; and authorizing the City Manager to execute all related contract documents contingent upon receipt and approval of insurance and bond documents. Funding is available in the 2008 C.O., 2014 C.O., 2015 C.O., and Community Development. 3. Consideration to award a construction contract to the lowest bidder Davila Construction LLC., San Antonio, Texas, in the base bid amount of $539,000.00 for the Santo Nino Community Center with a construction contract time of one hundred eighty (180) calendar days; and authorizing the City Manager to execute all related contract documents contingent upon receipt and approval of insurance and bond documents. Completion date for the project is scheduled for September 2016. Funding is available in the VIII.
